Contact Form/Contact Us

The Contact Form allows a user to email a question or comment to a customer service representative. This page is meant to display the various ways a user can get in contact with a CSR and to contact directly through the site via email.

The email, CC, and BCC that is chosen is set up in a profile/config setting called OrderEmails in the variables, so this can easily be changed.

After the email is sent the submit process will find the users home page and navigate them back to that page.

Contact Info

The entire Contact Us section is hard coded with the information that is displayed. It can be customized to meet the clients needs.


My Inquiry Is Related To

This section is a hard coded list of radio buttons that tells the recipient the subject of the question or comment that is being sent.

The options available can also be easily changed.

The option selected is included in the email that is sent to the customer, however, it could be set up that each radio button has its own email associated to it. With this small change you could email the sales department with inquiries related to Sales or Customer Service with Service/Warranty inquiries.


User Questions or Comments

If the user wants to submit their inquiry through the site, a textbox is available for the user to type their question or comment. This will be emailed to the appropriate email address depending on how the feature is set up.

In order to keep inquiries concise, there is a character limit on the text box. It has a max length of 2000 characters. This can easily be changed if more or less is needed.


Attachments

If the user wants to submit their inquiry through the site, an attachment can also be sent with the inquiry. The attachment is sent in the email with the user question/comment to the appropriate email address set up for this feature.

The file is briefly saved to this file path: C:\EASYProcess\[Environment]Applications\[Application]\WorkFile but is then deleted after the email is sent.


Contact Emails

The user’s questions/comments are emailed to emails set up at the time of site setup. These are saved in configuration variables so when they change in the future, they can be easily edited. Below are the configuration variables associated with this feature.
